In this month’s issue we share our growing success at International Telecoms Week (ITW), an annual global wholesale telecommunications conference for Telstra, and report on our role alongside other industry players in Singapore at CommunicAsia 2011, Asia's premier ICT event.
We also provide an update on our presence at the sixth annual Strategic Technology Forum – the premium networking event for anyone involved in legal IT – which took place in Andalucia, Spain at the beginning of June.

Success of ITW Conference keeps on growing
The annual ITW (International Telecoms Week) Conference was a great success for Telstra International.

This year’s event saw Telstra hold more than 150 meetings with existing clients, vendors and potential customers – representing a huge 130% increase from last year.

Asia's premier ICT event, CommunicAsia, returned to Singapore in June.

The annual event saw leading exhibitors, IT executives, influencers, buyers and users of ICT technologies come together to discuss the future direction of Asia's telecommunications sector and developments in the global ICT industry. A technology showcase enabled delegates to find out more about the latest innovations.

Crown Worldwide Group moves with Telstra International
Crown Worldwide Group, a privately held company with its global headquarters in Hong Kong, has appointed Telstra International to manage its MPLS,
|
Global Internet and Global Data Centre systems. The deal is valued at USD8.2 million over a five-year period and will see Telstra manage an initial 80 Global Wide Area Network (WAN) sites, including two data centre migrations.
