Telstra International EMEA, a leading global supplier of managed network and hosted services, today announced the appointment of Mr Tom Homer as Chief Executive Officer.
Based in London, Mr Homer will report to Telstra International Executive Director, Phil Mottram and will be responsible for delivering Telstra International EMEA’s growth strategy throughout the region.
Mr Mottram said the appointment comes at a key point in the company’s transition and growth phase.
“Tom will play a central role in ensuring continued growth throughout the EMEA region, especially through our core competency of supporting global enterprises’ expansion into Asia.
“Tom’s extensive expertise and experience is crucial in ensuring Telstra International continues its focus on providing solutions to this multinational corporation market. We are extremely pleased to have Tom join us to lead this throughout the EMEA region,” concluded Mr Mottram.
Mr Homer brings more than 20 years of experience in IT and telecommunications industries, including leadership roles in international, customer-driven organisations. His experience includes 10 years at AT&T, roles at Energis and Cable & Wireless, where most recently he was Director of the Major System Integrator channel, and Reliance Globalcom where he was Managing Director for the UK and Nordics.
