Telstra International today announced the appointment of Mr Andrew Wildblood to the Head of North Asia, effective 1 July, 2011.
Telstra International today announced the appointment of Mr Andrew Wildblood to the Head of North Asia, effective 1 July, 2011.
Mr Wildblood will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Phil Mottram, Executive Director for Telstra International. He will be responsible for leading Telstra International’s sales strategy and activities in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan.
Prior to this appointment, Mr Wildblood was the Vice President of Sales for Telstra International EMEA and responsible for driving the regional sales strategy for the multinational companies (MNC) market since 2009.
Telstra International Executive Director Mr Phil Mottram said Mr Wildblood’s extensive experience and proven ability to drive growth will be integral to Telstra International’s expansion plans across North Asia.
“Andrew has extensive global experience, and his appointment is testament to Telstra’s focus on grooming and retaining great leaders within the company,” Mr Mottram said.
With over a decade of experience within the Telstra network, Andrew was instrumental in gaining positive growth on Telstra’s sales and revenue in the Telstra Enterprise and Government business unit.
Andrew has held a number of senior leadership and sales positions in Europe and Australia at Telstra Corporation, where he drove growth of product portfolios, professional services, new business wins, and partnerships.
