Our working group, together with the Governance Panel, identify philanthropic opportunities and bring them to life.

Tim O'Leary - Chief Sustainability Officer
Tim O’Leary joined Telstra in September 2011 as Chief Sustainability Officer, with executive responsibility for strategic community and reputational initiatives, corporate responsibility, environment strategy and employee sustainability. Tim spent twenty years in senior Corporate Affairs, HR and Sustainability roles at the National Australia Bank (NAB) and Mobil Oil Australia. He holds an Honours Degree in Arts and a postgraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne. He is a member of Council at Newman College (University of Melbourne) and a Board member of the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence and Emotion 21, an arts organisation catering for the needs of people with Down syndrome.
Nick Holdsworth - Executive Director, Delivery and Service Operations
Nick is the Executive Director for Global Service Delivery and Managing Director for North Asia. Nick is based in Hong Kong and leads the teams responsible for the delivery of network and applications services to Telstra’s enterprise customers globally. In addition, Nick has responsibility for regional governance across North Asia.
With over 25 years in the technology services industry, Nick has held a number of roles, including General Manager of Synet Communications, a network and electronic commerce company, Director of Datacom Systems and has held various positions within IBM New Zealand.
Stephen Leung - International Financial Controller
Stephen Leung has over 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry in Asia at Telstra, Pacnet, Tata Communications, Asia Netcom, Asia Global Crossing, Wharf T&T and Hong Kong Telecom. His current position at Telstra is International Financial Controller overseeing Telstra International financial reporting and operations in Asia, UK and USA. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, Finance at Pacnet leading its global finance operations across 14 countries.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor, Canada. He is also a CFA Charterholder and member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Fan Ho - Corporate Strategy
Fan is passionate about technology innovations and how it can help improve our lives. She is a keen contributor to creating a better environment for everyone at a local community level.
Professionally, Fan joined Telstra’s strategy team in 2011, playing an active role in advancing Telstra’s international strategy; and working closely with other teams in pushing strategy into execution. Before joining Telstra, Fan was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Hong Kong and New York, supporting leading corporations in various industries, particularly in the telecom and high tech sector. She was also a dedicated Corporate Finance practitioner and had significant exposure to various M&A and strategic due diligence activities.
Fan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Global Business from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Stella Chan - Marketing Operations
In all of Stella’s roles, her career focus has always been about creating value for the company and making a difference to the users.
Armed with a solid sales experience and market sensitivity gained from having insightful conversations with customers and industry leaders, she led Pacnet’s Marketing and Sales Operations team in 2012. Through a series of customized multi-platform campaigns, she and her team successfully built for Pacnet a unique market positioning which helped the company win six industry awards and create impactful lead generation programs for the sales team.
Through the different roles in the course of her career, each have pointed to her single biggest passion - that is creating value and differentiation for the company to win. Whether it is promoting brands, automating programs, improving business processes, or engaging with industry influencers, she is motivated by the idea of providing insights, tools and platforms that will equip, empower and inspire people to succeed.
Stella holds an MBA in Marketing from Baruch College of City University of New York.
